Highcliffe Bowling Club

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced bowler you have the opportunity to bowl at the level which suits you at Highcliffe Bowling Club. We have some great coaches to support our bowlers, and an extensive internal and external bowling calendar to satisfy the more experienced bowler.

We have a full programme of Club knockout competitions, which include playing as a single player or within a team and which lead up to our Finals Days and presentation of trophies in September. We also run a competitive Triples League on a Monday afternoon, and an Aussie Pairs competition on a Friday afternoon, both of which are well attended by our bowlers at all levels

.

We offer a programme of friendly matches which help new bowlers get used to playing a more competitive game and which are well supported by our more experienced bowlers. Our special days which include President’s Day, Ladies and Gents Captains’ Days, Gala Day, Strawberry Drive and Bank Holiday Drives also provide an opportunity to get to know everyone.

 

We currently have 3 Men’s teams and 3 Ladies teams in the New Forest Leagues. The Men play these on a Tuesday and Thursday evening, and our Ladies play on Tuesday afternoons.

We have 2 Men’s teams in the Bournemouth & District League played on Saturday afternoons, and 2 Ladies teams playing on Thursday afternoons. There are 2 teams in the Saturday Mixed Triples League.

For those who want a little bit more there are endless opportunities to enter County and local Association competitions.
